As you are in my prayers today, we mark one week since public celebration of the Mass has been suspended. The situation continues to evolve, and with that come many things moving within our interior lives: feelings of fear, anxiety, and worry – Do Not Be Afraid: Have Faith.
We've joined together for Mass online via Facebook Live or YouTube. We’ve prayed for one and other, asking God to protect us and strengthen us. We continue to communicate through the parish website and Flocknote.
As your Pastor I am so grateful that many of you have either joined Online Giving through our website or are sending your envelopes in through the mail. Your gifts are a great help to the Parish. Knowing that there are those who may not be secure right now because of all the work stoppages taking place, I ask you to do the best you can right now in supporting St. Patrick’s Parish. If you are unable to contribute to the Parish right now, please pray for the St. Patrick Community – the gift of prayer is invaluable and is always much needed. If you are able to help, I ask you to help financially in whatever way you can in our weekly offering, whether contributing through mail or online giving, it is greatly appreciated. It is a difficult financial time for St. Patrick’s Parish as well.
Together, we will get through this. On a personal note, thank you as I’m very humbled and grateful for your kind words. Please continue to pray for our Parish, and our Diocese. You remain in my continued daily prayers, and again, Thank you for your continued generosity in all the ways you are able to provide for the St. Patrick Community
