With the Bishop’s Letter today announcing that the public celebration of the Mass is being suspended, we now look to provide for the community through digital means.
Going forward, we will look to have an occasional Facebook Live Stream of the Mass (Especially one on Sundays) and other prayerful events taking place during the week. All requested Mass intentions will be prayed for at each daily Mass as usual.
We will also hopefully soon be introducing a way of meeting online for fellowship and possibly an online class, like those held on Tuesday evenings.
The Church will remain open during this time for your personal prayer. Please be mindful of the 25 person limit we must observe and the proper precautions. I encourage you, if you have not already done so, to make a regular visit to the Church to pray in front of the Lord. The Church will be disinfected nightly to help keep it clean.
We have been requested to close our parish offices to the public for the time being. All parishioners should know that they can reach us by phone and by email.
We will continue to try and make as many resources available on the website and Facebook page as possible.
I will live stream Daily Mass tomorrow morning at 8am from my chapel in rectory if you care to follow along on Facebook. Please forgive any streaming mishaps as live streaming is new territory for this Priest.
Continue to pray for one another, and I will reach out with any updates or events as they become available.
